Obituary for Lucille Virginia "Nana" Linkous
Lucille (Nana) Linkous, 93, of Lebanon, Va., passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2018. She was a loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and a dear friend to many. Born in Blacksburg, Va., on August 21, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Doc Linkous and Myrtle Nooncaster Linkous Gearheart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Linkous; stepfather, Herman Gearheart; brother, Henderson Linkous; sister, Rebecca Flinchum.
She is survived by sons, Mark Linkous and wife Tammy and Johnny Linkous and wife Phyllis; grandsons, Christian Linkous and girlfriend Jasmine Griffey and Scotty Hedrick; granddaughter, Tracy Linkous Leonard and husband Grady; great-granddaughter, Kayla Hedrick; brother, Thomas Gearheart; sisters, Edith Hall and Josephine Lovern; special family and caregivers, Lexie Snead, Becky Fuller, Barbara Hale and Bessie Wilmoth and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Kennedy, Clint Steele, Jimmy Marshall, Danny Henderson, Arlen Turner, and friends of the family.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Steele and Billy Gray.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018, in the Owens Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Ralph Kidd officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018, at Russell Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
