Obituary for Bonnie Sizemore (Rasnake)

Bonnie Belle Rasnake Sizemore, age 87, 515 Harts Creek Rd., Cleveland, Va., passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Sizemore was born in Cleveland, on August 30, 1930, to the late Taulbee and Bertha McGuire Rasnake. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Crabtree Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Edwin Sizemore and three brothers, Cecil McGuire Rasnake, Oliver Benton Rasnake, and Howard Eugene Rasnake.

She is survived by six children, Roger Sizemore and wife Donna, James Sizemore and wife Pamela, Sharon Barbrow and husband Dwayne, Edna Sizemore, Dedra Helbert and husband Lawrence “Worm”, Debra Hughes and husband John; grandchildren, Pamela Myatt and husband Doug, James C. Sizemore and wife Crystal, Sarah Tilley and husband Kevin, Kimberly Glovier and husband John, Erica Harvey and husband Sam, Kendall Helbert, Jesse Sizemore and wife Anna, Steven Jackson, Candace Helbert, Drew Helbert and Alan Hess; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mona Rasnake Moser and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018, at 8 pm in the Owens Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Leon Musick officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lebanon, Va. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
