Flora Naomi Taylor Miller, 84, of Parrish, Fla, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019. Born on October 9, 1934, in Lebanon, Va., she was the daughter of the late Rev. Ralph Taylor and Annie Hubbard Taylor. She met Perry Miller at a revival and later became his wife of 61 years. They moved to Florida in the early 1970’s, where they raised their family and later returned to Southwest Virginia for Perry’s ministry and mission work.

In addition to her parents, Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Miller; and brothers, Howard Taylor and Hershel Taylor.
She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Tryon and husband Tom of Ellenton, Fla. and Katrina Wright and husband Bill of Buford, Ga.; granddaughter, Julie Hebert and husband Shane; great grandsons, Aidan Taylor and Kaleb Perry all of Bradenton, Fla.; sister, Linda Taylor Cox, Troutville, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019, in the Owens Funeral Service Chapel. Entombment will follow at Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lebanon, Va.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, at the funeral home one hour before the service.
