Patty Sue Vencill, 80, of Lebanon, Va., passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Born in Russell County, Va., on May 7, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Clovis and Beulah Kiser Browning. She was raised in Elk Garden, Va., and worked for over 20 years at Lebanon Drug. She attended Bethel Baptist Church in Lebanon all of her life and was a member for 60 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Wayne Bishop.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, James E. “E.J.” Vencill and numerous cousins.
Pallbearers will be Lester Davis, Kemper Fuller, Gene Kiser, Frank Combs, Gary Yates, Ural Childress, Mike Robinette, and Willis Yates.
Honorary pallbearers will be Thad Lambert, Buck Compton, Rick Altizer, Ed Jones, Danny Roark, and Bryce Gillenwater.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019, at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Kyle Kitchens, Rev. Jeff Kinder, and Rev. Larry Burton officiating. Interment will follow at Russell Memorial Cemetery in Lebanon.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
